World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with Administrator General of Trustees, Government of Tanzania, as a religious and charitable humanitarian trust. It is led by a board of trustees and an elected chairman.

WIPAHS promotes rural development  through education and self sustainable projects that are used to promote the well being  of the community regardless of sex, race or religion.

Education

Introduction – Education is an important factor in a person’s life. The importance of education has been narrated in various prophetic traditions:

"seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave"
"seek knowledge even if you have to travel as far as china"
In recent times, the emphasis of education has been publicized in various sectors of development and lack of education has been related to the miseries of life.
WIPAHS believes that the best way to eradicate poverty and to strengthen a person's ethics and character is to disseminate quality education incorporated with religious studies to the underprivileged members of the society. This will enable them to support themselves and their dependants and lead a respectable lifestyle. Thus diseases, poverty, illiteracy, will automatically disappear in time to come.
