World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with Administrator General of Trustees, Government of Tanzania, as a religious and charitable humanitarian trust. It is led by a board of trustees and an elected chairman.

WIPAHS promotes rural development  through education and self sustainable projects that are used to promote the well being  of the community regardless of sex, race or religion.

Medical

Introduction In Tanzania, medical facilities have yet to meet the demand, likewise the cost of treatments also are very expensive. WIPAHS in its little capacity has carried out various projects to assist and support the less fortunate.
Activities
Under the health project we provide medical assistance especially through “Give Eyesight to the Blind” Project, whereby we arrange eye camps and conduct cataract operations free of charge
Medical Treatment Support: Various individuals have been assisted to undergo treatments

Sponsoring Cataract Surgeries: On various occasions, individuals from the villages and the less fortunate have been assisted to undergo cataract surgeries.

Providing of Sunglasses: WIPAHS in coordination with various sponsors have distributed sunglasses to various hospitals throughout Tanzania

Providing Hospital Necessities and Medical Equipments: WIPAHS in coordination with various well-wishers and supporter have donated beds, wheel chairs, stretchers and incubators to hospitals throughout the country.
