Social Welfare

Introduction – It is sometimes easier to do Tabligh and preach the right, but it is difficult to pass the message when the receivers of the message are inflicted with poverty or have a road with potholes of social and financial difficulties.
In order to meet with the demand and try to serve humanity, WIPAHS looks into ways of supporting the social and financial situations of various individuals and communities through various projects which include:

Activities - Ramadhan Food distribution and Iftar programmes with religious lectures are carried out for school, college and university students in Dar es Salaam, suburbs of Dar es Salaam and other regions of Tanzania during the Holy month of Ramadhan. Eid gifts are distributed to the orphans and underprivileged for them to enjoy a decent Eid.
Monetary assistance is provided to the deserving for their medicals, fees, rent and any other needs that may arise. Visits to destitute centres, Hospitals, Orphans and Widows for the distribution of fruits etc

Orphanage - A modern and newly built orphanage at our Kibaha campus with a capacity to accommodate 120 orphans, currently accommodates over 50 children who have lost both their parents. Age range: 2 years to 6 years and thereafter are transferred to Primary dormitories to lead a normal life with the rest of the children. At the orphanage they attend school during the day and have religious training in the afternoons.
